Marketplace transforms your Azuriom website into a community-driven platform where users can publish, discover, and access digital content.

Its workflow is inspired by familiar resource platforms such as SpigotMC, Hangar, and Modrinth, providing an organized space where your community can share plugins, modifications, configurations, maps, scripts, graphical assets, guides, and other downloadable resources.

Resources can be distributed completely free of charge or offered as paid content using your website's Azuriom points.

A Marketplace Built Around Your Community

Marketplace gives administrators the tools needed to adapt the platform to the type of content supported by their community.

Create custom categories and tags to organize publications by game, technology, resource type, project, or any other structure that fits your website.

• Custom categories: Separate resources into clearly defined sections.
• Custom tags: Make publications easier to classify, filter, and discover.
• Permission-based publishing: Control which users are allowed to create and manage publications.
• Flexible content types: Use Marketplace for Minecraft resources or any other kind of digital content supported by your community.

Free and Paid Resources

Authors can decide whether each publication is available for free or requires payment.

Paid resources use the points system from your Azuriom website, allowing you to build an internal digital economy without requiring authors to configure an external payment provider for every publication.

This makes Marketplace suitable for both open community sharing and controlled commercial distribution.

Moderated Publication Workflow

New publications submitted by users are not immediately made public. Instead, they are added to an internal moderation queue inside the administration panel.

Administrators and authorized staff members can review each submission and determine whether it complies with the website's rules before approving or rejecting it.

This workflow provides greater control over the content distributed through your platform and helps prevent prohibited, misleading, incomplete, or inappropriate resources from becoming publicly available.

Updates and Resource Management

Authors can manage their publications and release updates whenever a new version of their resource becomes available.

This allows users to follow the development of a project and access its latest published versions from a centralized page instead of relying on disconnected download links or external announcements.

Comments, Votes, and Reputation

Marketplace includes community interaction features that help users evaluate resources and communicate with their authors.

• Comments: Users can discuss publications, provide feedback, report compatibility experiences, or ask questions.
• Resource voting: Community members can vote for the resources they find useful.
• Author reputation: Votes received by shared resources contribute to the author's reputation within the marketplace.

User Restrictions

Users who violate your website's rules can be restricted directly through Marketplace without requiring administrators to manually remove roles or reconfigure their Azuriom permissions.

Restrictions can be applied partially or completely, depending on the actions that should remain available to the affected user.

• Partial restrictions: Disable specific Marketplace features while preserving access to others.
• Complete restrictions: Prevent the user from accessing or interacting with Marketplace.
• Temporary restrictions: Configure an expiration date so access is restored automatically.
• Permanent restrictions: Keep the restriction active until it is manually removed by an administrator.

Configurable File Controls

Administrators can configure which file types and extensions users are allowed to upload with their publications.

Potentially dangerous file extensions are blocked by default, reducing the risk of users distributing executable or otherwise unsafe files through your website.

These controls allow each community to define an upload policy appropriate for the kind of resources it intends to host.

Rate Limiting and CAPTCHA Protection

Marketplace includes configurable rate limits that help protect publication and interaction features against spam, repeated requests, and automated abuse.

It also integrates natively with the CAPTCHA system configured in your Azuriom installation. When CAPTCHA protection is enabled in Azuriom, Marketplace can use it as an additional verification layer for supported user actions.

Together with the moderation queue, permission system, user restrictions, and file controls, these protections provide multiple layers for maintaining a safer and more manageable marketplace.

Discord Webhook Integration

Connect a Discord webhook to automatically notify your community or staff team whenever a new publication is released in Marketplace.

This makes it easier to promote recently published resources, keep members informed, and bring activity from your website directly into your Discord server.

More Than a Download Section

Marketplace is designed to provide a complete publishing environment rather than a simple collection of download links.

Whether your community shares Minecraft plugins, server configurations, maps, scripts, graphical resources, documentation, development tools, or other digital products, Marketplace provides the organization, moderation, security, and community features needed to manage everything directly from Azuriom.
